Seamless solutions featuring both SATO and Argox brands
Tokyo, March 2, 2018 – SATO, a leading global provider of Auto-ID solutions that empower workforces and streamline operations, announced today that it rebranded its India unit as SATO Argox India Pvt. Ltd. (hereafter SATO Argox India) under a new mission from March 1. Argox Information Co., Ltd. Chairman and President Keisuke Yamada will oversee the revamped unit.
Argox is an entry level barcode printer brand based in Taiwan that was acquired by SATO in 2012. The rebranded SATO Argox India will market both SATO and Argox brand printers in India, integrating them into its Auto-ID solutions to best meet the needs of Indian customers with a wider product range with user-centric solutions sales approach. This new approach is meant to bolster synergy between SATO and Argox by seamlessly promoting both brands in the huge and growing Indian market.
Under its medium-term management plan, SATO is currently focused on “returning to basics” to establish its unique DCS & Labeling business model and capture growth opportunities, with a target of 50 percent of sales from markets outside of Japan by FY2021. This success model relies on direct contact with end users to provide user centric solutions through a solutions sales approach.
This organizational change is designed to enhance efficiency to drive greater value for stakeholders through a new mix of products, services and industry expertise, with an uncompromising dedication to delivering high quality Auto-ID solutions.
